Organic Chemistry FlashCards App Reviews

This app is helpful when you need to review orgo on the run. Its not helpful when it constantly freezes and you have to shut the app off and reopen it. Its a simple app and you pay for it, so the upgrade without the freezes would be appreciated.

It would be nice for us laymen chem people if the names of the molecules were shown

this app is way too advanced for me. I thought it had easy to advanced problems, but the creators understanding of easy really was way too advanced for me. Im new to ochem. this was a waste of my $2. sorry, I deleted right away.

Also, Id like more difficult questions with 5+ reagents. Other than that it is a great little app to aid in studying while Im at the gym or on the run. DEFINITELY WORTH THE $2!!!!!!!!!!!! IPAD SUPPORT!!!!!!!!!!!

My buddies and I were studying for our O Chem exam and ran out of cards too quickly.

The cards are helpful as an addition to other resources for learning the material. I especially noticed that there are problems in the notes that arent found in my textbook. In that regard they are a nice addition.

This is a wonderful app as a study aid

So worth 2 bucks. I wish I had this for my ACS. I have been using it so make sure I dont forget my smarts. :P

This app is a great purchase and like the other reviews say, this app is a great study tool. However, it could be better if the cards were more interactive. For instance when asked which leaving group is the best, one should be able to tap the leaving group and get a positive or negative response. Other than that a reagents section would be nice. No other gripes from me. Overall a great buy.

Wish the answers also named and showed more of the mechanism. More synthesis in the summary parts would be more helpful. Otherwise nice study tool.

Thoroughly, simply and concisely covers all material. Doesnt require data or Internet to use once downloaded, which makes it nice for travel.

Personally, I found this app to be very useful this semester. Its a lot more handy than a big stack of flash cards, and a much better use of time than the games I am usually tempted to play in my down time at work. I do wish there were more cards, but in general, I would say it was a good use of money and time.

Once you go into some topic there is no coming bank other then closing the app and reopening it.

Really helps when you dont have your books and notes available, having these flash cards are great to have on the phone, my only gripe is that it should be more specific, for instance, a carboxcylic acid derivatives tab, aldehydes and ketones tab, etc. however, most of that is mixed with other topics. The number one tab they need is a reagents topic that tells you what they are for. Overall its a great app.
